Boat Pro Course Taught By Ontario Chinese Anglers Association September 22 and 29, 2016 6:30pm - 11:00pm

This course taught in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin to be determined by student enrollment) provides knowledge on water safety for operating a watercraft. Upon successful completion of the Boat Pro Course, the student will earn their Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). This card is required by a person operating a watercraft powered by an engine greater than 9.9 hp or a PWC (Personal Watercraft) e.g. jet ski. You may be subject to a fine for operating a watercraft without a PCOC upon boat inspection by Ontario Provincial Police or Ministry of Natural Resources and Forestry. There is a written test in Chinese during the second day of course. The cost of the course is $120, which includes course instruction, course book and written test. The course will only be held if there is at least 10 students registered for this course. The course will be taught at a location near Leslie and Highway 7 in Richmond Hill, ON.
